If you have been messing around in the property business you might be familiar by the sale of properties from small ones like apartment to the huge castles or entire private island, but would you be interested on buying a piece of pristine forest? or perhaps a small hill of Yellowstone Park?

Since last October it has been publicized that the British Government had expressed its interest on selling their own forest and woodlands currently hold responsible by the UK’s Forestry Commission. While the news has been confirmed by early January and widely opposed by many, it sure raises an interesting point, would the privatization of State forest and woodlands can possibly become a new form of property business or a new venture opportunity? More over what would the owner can or cannot do with their new piece of land should the plan come to realization?

Although the British Government tried to ensure people that their plan will not be damaging to the forest and “”There are not and never have been any plans to sell off the Forest of Dean to developers who would cut down the forest to replace it with recreation parks.” as quoted from BBC, there will be many things that still remains muddy regarding what the ownership will grant the landlord or how the forest  will be managed. Nevertheless the idea of privatizing government owned forest is rather a strikingly fresh idea that, if made real, might become a new venture for some.
